If I did everything like you did with the Fantom, would it work with the MPC5000? And could i sync it with Logic on a macbook pro? Thanks

How would you sync your digidesign 003 console to the fantom and the mpc but make the digidesign 003 the master and the fantom and mpc slaves

@ syndot I have been using my MPC and fantom together for awhile now and as of recently my fantom is not quantizing right when I play back. Do you know what this issue could be?I tried turning off the quantize in my mpc and on in the fantom and vice versa but it is always playing back off tempo?

I had the same problem also. two volume knobs when using inputs.

you may havethe jjos installed, thats why the screen looks diff. Make sure your Fantom Screen is Set up Exactly like mine Because it seems like your Mpc is waiting for the Fantom.

Just resample everything recorded in the fantom and bounce the mpc tracks into the Fantom, Save the samples, save the project to your usb.

this tutorial is real helpful. i was able to link my fantom to my mpc and it works good. but yo how would i be able to link them up to my protools, to bounce my music to for mixing and adding vocals.

Ive got a problem with the pitch shift function. When I tune up the sample + 1.00 or -1.00 than the sample sounds damaged.
The file I loaded the sample from is not the problem. Can you help me out?

I think you mean (why would I have the mpc’s out going into the FG’s in’s) Thats so I can hear both Mpc and Fg. If I were to use the outs on the mpc goin str8 into my monitors, I would’nt be able to hear the FG.

Why would u put the line input into the Fantom? The MPC has its own metronome.

@pizziemusic Yea Im running version 1.50

Yea it should work with the 1000, When your down with your beat…you can track
what you’ve down in mpc into the fantom.

Hey thanks for the input on hookin these two joints together…. I haven’t tried to actually sync my fantom and mpc yet but I’m assuming it’ll work the same with the 1000 as it did with yours. Nice vid man. Peace.
